Every June, the town of Mougins in Alpes-Maritimes brings together more than 100 chefs during the gastronomic festival, Les Étoiles de Mougins. Between 23-25 June, 25,000 visitors flock to the squares and streets of the hilltop village to see the 120 cookery demonstrations, and to rub shoulders with some of the greatest chefs in the world as well as discover some of their culinary secrets.
The festival was founded in 2006 as a tribute to Roger Vergé, renowned chef of the local restaurant, Moulin de Mougins.
Entry for the cookery demonstrations and tastings starts from €5 and some cookery courses can also be booked.
