WESTERN FRANCE

La Vélo Francette, which runs south across western France from Ouistre­ham in Nor­mandy to La Rochelle in Char­enteMar­itime, has been voted Euro­pean Cy­cle Route of the Year 2017. TOUR DE MANCHE

Link­ing Brit­tany and Nor­mandy with Dorset and Devon, the Tour de Manche route is a unique cross-coun­try trail. The French route fol­lows the coast­line of Brit­tany through the fa­mous Pink Gran­ite Coast and Cap Fréhel. CANAL DES DEUX MERS À VÉLO

This 800km cy­cle route runs east-west from the At­lantic to the Mediter­ranean, and passes through pic­turesque coun­try­side and in­ter­est­ing towns in­clud­ing Car­cas­sonne, Toulouse, Agen and Bordeaux.
