BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY Q
We’re currently looking at properties in France and have seen one that we think has potential – it would definitely be a project! It’s an old barn which we’d like to convert into a house and possibly a gîte, and we’d like to know how feasible this would be. Some work has already been done and we suspect it’s substandard, so we expect this would need to be re-done. We’re a bit concerned that this might have done more damage than good, and that it’s hiding further defects. What are our options before we commit to buying it?
