Living France - - What's New -

With its winding canals and half-timbered houses, Strasbourg is undoubtedly one of France’s prettiest cities and now another part of Alsace’s capital has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. The original UNESCO site was around the historic centre but it has now been extended to include Neustadt, the new town. This part of the city was designed and built under German administration from 1871-1918 to house new arrivals that were coming mainly from Germany.
