Fake food...

Living France - - What's New -

France is aiming to ban a food additive widely found in sweets, biscuits, cakes and even ice cream after studies found it may be cancerous. Titanium dioxide, is known as the artificial colour E171 and is used as a whitening and brightening agent but has no nutritional or preservative qualities. Scientists say the nano-particles are small enough to pass through the protective walls of organs and have created precancerous lesions in rats. You can find a full list of all the products containing the additive at infonano. agirpourlenvironnement.org/ additif-e171/
