Through free sessions delivered safely over the phone, they can guide you through the tasks that you want to achieve. Whether that be video calling family and friends, making an online shop or persuing hobbies and interests, they are there to help. Recycling facility The facility formerly sited at the entrance to the cricket club on Heol Caegwyn has been closed permanently. If you leave anything at the former facility, it will be regarded as fly-tipping, which carries a hefty fine. An alternative location is
being sought. If you can suggest somewhere, please contact one of our county councillors.
Open again Since July 6 the National Botanic Garden has re-opened following the easing of lockdown restrictions. Some special measures have been put place to keep you all safe. Y Pot Blodyn (Garden Centre) is open from 10am to 5pm every day. So, if you want to stock up on peat-free compost, plants, seeds, pots and other garden items, do call in. Admission is free.
Tumble Surgery The practice is requesting that people only contact the surgery by telephone. Doctors will decide whether patients need a consultation over the telephone or in person. Prescription requests should be placed in the letterbox of Meddygfa’r Tymbl and in the box at Cross Hands Surgery. The medication will be available at the pharmacy you choose, either in Tumble or Cross Hands, but you are asked to allow 72 hours for the prescription to be ready.
Community support Nisa Drefach on Heol Caegwyn has general groceries which you can order by telephone. Contact 01269 843777. Shop is open from 7am to 8pm and they are happy to accept payment by card over the phone.
