Brexit will halt Britain, warns Morgan Stanley

BREXIT and political instability will cause the UK economy to grind to a halt, US investment banking giant Morgan Stanley said today. It cut its GDP forecasts and predicted there would be no quarter-on-quarter growth in the final three months of 2018 “as Brexit bites”. “We think that Brexit is already driving the UK economy into an idiosyncratic slowdown.”
