Madge moves to Portugal for her soccer-mad son
MADONNA’S Instagram is awash with pictures of her new home in Lisbon, the Portuguese capital.
The queen of pop has moved into the 18th-century “palacete” — little palace — Quinta do Relógio, above, in the hilltop town of Sintra, with views over the Moorish castle and World Heritage Site of Quinta da Regaleira.
The superstar is said to have paid £6.8 million for the four-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion, which was listed with agents Engel & Völkers. She posted a picture of her kitchen, with woven baskets hanging from the ceiling, captioned: “I used to be a basket case but now I live in Lisbon.” She’s pictured below with adopted son David Banda, 11, who has joined Benfica football team youth academy.
