Rachel Khoo keeps it simple and sensual for Valentine’s Day

I’m not one to advocate that there are certain foods that guarantee a successful romantic meal. However, my one solid piece of advice when cooking for a love interest is to pick simple dishes with good-quality ingredients and leave yourself enough time to have a shower and dress to impress. After all, there’s nothing worse than answering the door covered in the dinner you wanted to serve, after one — or many — kitchen disasters. Pair this dish with some delicious crusty sourdough bread (E5 Bakehouse, Pavilion Bakery and Lonzo all do excellent loaves) to mop up the creamy cottage cheese and serve with a glass of bubbly. You’ll be on the right track to impressing your date.
