‘Victoria & I Went Dancing, She’s Very Funny’

We hit Cannes to chat to megababe Eva Longoria and to get the lowdown on her boozy night with Posh. She did not disappoint

Look (UK) - - WHAT’S NEW -

The sun’s beating down, there are hundreds of paparazzi gathered outside and we’re one of the few lucky ones to be granted a private audience with Eva Longoria. The actress, 41, is here as a spokesperson for L’oréal Paris and, ahead of her upcoming wedding, she’s in a great mood – which is impressive as just hours earlier she was spotted drinking tequila (‘and dancing’ as Eva later reveals) with BFF Victoria Beckham – oh, to be a fly on that wall. But the ever-professional Eva is ready for another day of photo shoots and red carpets at Cannes, so we ask her where she’s been and how she glows… Hi Eva, we just had a look at your Snapchats with Victoria from last night – you look like you’re having an absolute blast! Yeah, we always have a lot of fun. Knowing you’ll be on the red carpet every day, how do you prepare? I work out regularly, but right before Cannes I kind of double it up. I do Soulcycle, Pilates and I run, alternating all of them. I do something every day. For being in front of photographers, what products do you use to make sure you really stand out? I use L’oréal Sublime Bronze Nourishing Body Oil. The oil gives a luminous glow that just pops. What makes you feel confident? Mascara [laughs]! But we’ve seen you posting no-make-up selfies… Yeah, I Snapchat everything. But if I was stranded on a desert island, mascara would definitely be my must-have. What do you do when you’re getting ready for a night out – do you talk on the phone, are you chatting to your team? By the time we’re here all my outfits and looks have been decided, so last night it was me, Susan Sarandon, Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts and Doutzen Kroes and we were all like a bunch of girls getting ready at a slumber party! Do you ever panic just before the red carpet? Oh always. I’m always like: ‘Can you see it – is this sticking out?’ I mean there are so many fashion emergencies that can happen as you get out on the red carpet.
