Dressed-up Dungas

Buckle up ladies; the dungaree dress is the only thing you need to buy this week. You know, if you have to choose just the one…*sigh*

‘Off to the playground, are we!?’ Dad jokes and dungarees go hand-inhand – with those less educated in the world of fashion relishing in the opportunity to poke fun. By no means the easiest thing to wear, it takes dunga newbies approx three hours and four sartorial breakdowns to style them up successfully.

However, thanks to one simple tweak, the tricky staple just got a major chic-over. Behold, the dungaree maxi dress! Combining the classic pinny style top with an elegant floorskimming skirt, the dungaree maxi dress strikes the perfect balance between retro and sophisticated.

Layer over a black Bardot top and pair with strappy block heels afterdark, or opt for a plain tee and Converse during the day. Overall, (see what we did there?) they’re a new-season buy well worth investing in. Our dads would be so proud…

Dungas + platforms = summer perfection
