She’s just like us! When Margot moved to London in 2014, instead of living in a hotel like most of those celeb types do, she opted to live in a shared house in London’s Clapham. Imagine an actual Hollywood star replying to your Spareroom ad. Amazing! When she auditioned for The Wolf Of Wolf Street, she really wanted to stand out to director Martin Scorsese. How did she manage it? She hit old Mr Dicaprio around the face. She recalls: ‘Marty and Leo just burst out laughing. Marty says: “That was great!” Leo’s like: “Hit me again!”’ LOL. Before becoming an actress, Margot worked in Subway – yep, the sandwich chain – in Melbourne. According to the woman herself, her speciality was the BLT. She turned down Playboy. Hugh Hefner tried to get Margot in his mag, saying she was ‘very, very pretty’ (he’s right). However, she declined his invitation as she’d already ‘put my family through enough’. Her nickname is Maggot, something she started being called aged five at school. We can’t for the life of us work out how folk came up with that one…
