If you ask us, finding a suits-all dress is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow: unheard of. That’s why when we first got wind of the new-and-improved tea dress we could hardly contain ourselves. It might have been a wardrobe basic during the Blitz, but it’s summer 2K16 that’s really seen this frock go from humble to hot property.
Our fave Insta stars have been showing us why we should introduce one of these flattering buys into our own wardrobes – heck, style guru Alexa Chung even included one in her M&S collection!
So we can’t blame our very own Fashion News Assistant Bridie Wilkins for getting in on the action. TBH, with a nipped-in waist, flattering sleeve length and summer-ready ruffles, it’s difficult to find a reason not to snap up one of these miracle pieces. It’s time to join the par-tea…
