Look (UK) - - THE TEST FACTOR -

1 Benefit Ka-brow, £18.50

Look’s Gabrielle: If you want buildable brows that look like the real thing, this is the gel for you. It comes in a flexible but non-sticky formula, as well as with a teeny-tiny slanted brush for application. Handy! You have to go for short, sharp, hair-like movements to avoid harsh blocking, but overall this is pretty dreamy. Kellie: It took me a little while to master the brush and get clean sweeps, but after a little bit of practice I nailed it. I like a welldefined, sleek brow finish and, when teamed with concealer at the brow edge this gel gave me just that. Fab. Best For: Barely-there brows

2 Illamasqua Brow Build, £12.95

Look’s Gabrielle: My brows loved this product – for once they did as they were told and let me angle the product-laden wand in the right direction to get them in check. The gel doesn’t set immediately so I had the time to get them as even as they could be. And could go over areas where I needed more brow with ease. Kellie: You use this one like a mascara, which I liked, but I did get a few flecks of product around the brows as I got the hang of it. It’s a little stiff once it’s dried but that soon eases up and you don’t even know you’re wearing it. Best For: Uneven brow owners

3 Topshop Beauty Brow Gel, £8.50

Look’s gabrielle: A catwalk and top model fave, and I can see why. Small but perfectly formed, the little mascara-like wand glides over the brows, pulling hairs into place as it goes and filling in any gaps.it couldn’t be easier to use and gives a natural, matte finish as it sets. Brow-tastic. Kellie: I get my brows shaped and tinted every few months but this has been a godsend between appointments. It helps to give shape when there isn’t much there, plus once the gel’s on and sets, it sets. Best For: Unruly brows

4 Ardell Brow Pomade, £7.99

Look’s Gabrielle: Looks like a gel liner, works like an ace brow definer. I love that you get so much control with this one, the long, half spoolie/half brush tool is so easy to balance on your fingers so you can focus on your brows. I can’t believe it’s so affordable as well. Kellie: This was a big surprise for me. I thought the colour would be weak because of the price, but it was actually really pigmented and blended easily into my brow hairs. I’d definitely recommend to eyebrow-loving friends. Best For: Shapeless brows
