Daisy’s New Look
From the FROW to the dancefloor, Daisy gets a sartorial 10/10 from us – and don’t even get us started on her hot hook-up with V by Very…
Catwalk model, style icon and now new Strictly darling, is there no end to Daisy Lowe’s talents? With her megawatt smile and total lack of pretence, she’s the friendliest It girl you could ever hope to meet – someone you want to be friends with. Which is great if you’re Alexa Chung or Pixie Geldof who, be it on the FROW or just chilling out, are never far from her side.
What’s more, the 27-yearold has been named the fit face of V by Very’s AW16 collection. So we delved deep to find out what it takes to make her wardrobe edit…
Daisy, congrats on your new V by Very gig! What’s your fave piece? I love the tweed trousers – they’re super-flattering. Oh, and the silver pleated skirt is great for a party or night out. You’re a bit of a fashion chameleon, rocking high glamour one minute, then Dr Martens and boyfriend jeans the next. How will this affect your Strictly dressing? Honestly, I can’t wait to wear all the sparkles! I love dressing up, so it’s wonderful to be able to go all out. What are your party season dressing tips? You can’t beat a good sparkly dress. Embellishment was all over the AW16 catwalks and sequins and glitter always put me in a party mood. Which London Fashion Week shows do you look forward to most? Christopher Kane and Erdem – they’re so creative and push the boundaries. You’ve worn some gorgeous outfits in your time, but which sticks out in yourmindasbeing reallyspecial? I loved the Giles Deacon dress I wore to the GQ Awards in 2008. I felt so elegant and it made it a night to remember.
