Macadamia Oil: Your New Cupboard Staple

Sorry, coconut oil who?

Look (UK) - - LOOK FIT! -

Ever since coconut oil burst onto the scene we’ve been spooning it into our saucepans, hoping to reap the nutritional benefits of so called ‘good fats’.

But is the coco craze really all it’s cracked up to be?

Hannah Zussman, personal trainer and co-founder of This Is Good Macadamia Nut Oil reckons coconut oil ‘has had its moment’. Ouch!

‘Macadamia oil is crammed full of monounsaturated fats (the good ones), whereas coconut oil contains a whopping 85 per cent saturated fat. Macadamia oil only contains 12 per cent saturated fat.’

Hannah continues: ‘In my opinion, coconut oil shouldn’t be used on a daily basis, unless you’re on a super-intense exercise plan. Macadamia nut oil on the other hand can be used every day and as it retains its benefits when heated, it’s a total winner.’

We’re keen to give it a go – but it’s too soon to turn our backs completely on Hawaiian Tropic-flavoured roasties…

This Is Good Macadamia Nut Oil, £14.99
