‘I Was Mortified When My Card Was Rejected’

Look’s Features Editor Giselle Wainwright explains…

‘Iwas recently at a restaurant with my friends and decided to buy a round of drinks for us all to celebrate my BFF’S promotion at work. So imagine my horror when my bank card was rejected in front of everyone – it was utterly mortifying.

Luckily, I had my credit card with me, so I managed to save face – but it was still embarrassing.

When it comes to planning ahead now, I couldn’t live without it. Spending time with the girls takes a bit more time and effort as we live all over the country, so we need to book things way in advance. Thanks to Noddle, I was accepted for the right credit card – so I can book six tickets to see Bastille on tour and pay the balance off month-by-month, knowing my friends and I have an incredible night planned. And that’s worth everything, right?’
