Watch out, Perrie!
She might be feeling on top of the world with a song about her ex, but is her new guy good for her?
Last week, Perrie Edwards locked lips with hunk Luke Pasqualino at London’s Sterling bar and told the world she’s totally over her ex Zayn Malik. But insiders warn that Our Girl star Luke may not be the right man for her.
‘Her friends are worried he’s not that serious about her,’ says our source. Perrie, 23, and Luke were first linked in August after going to the musical Aladdin together. Perrie confirmed she was ‘seeing’ the 26-year-old actor last month and they’ve since been seen together several times. But after a cooling off period in September, friends are worried that Luke’s not serious about the Little Mixer – especially as, in the last year, he’s also been linked to other women and was seen flirting with Strictly star Laura Whitmore.
Not that it seems to be bothering Perrie, whose PDA with Luke on 8 October proved the pair are still having fun. Plus, it was the same week that Perrie performed new single Shout Out To My Ex with Little Mix on The X Factor, which mocks an ex’s bedroom skills. Lyrics include: ‘I hope she gettin’ better sex, hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did, babe.’ Ouch.
Apparently the song has riled Zayn, with our source revealing: ‘He messaged her asking why she can’t leave the past behind.’
But how does Luke feel? ‘He’s uncomfortable with Perrie talking about her sex life,’ adds another pal. ‘But she feels like she’s putting the Zayn thing behind her once and for all with this song.’ Let’s just hope Luke’s the right one to move on with…
