Pro Green: ‘I Know You Sh*gged Her’
The rapper’s new single reveals he’s still bitter about his split from Millie
Eight months have passed since Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green announced their amicable split. But while the model has moved on from her ex, with her former flame Hugo Taylor, her ex-husband hasn’t.
Pro Green – real name Stephen Manderson – seemed to take a swipe at his ex-wife’s new beau Hugo on 23 October, when he tweeted: ‘I know you sh*gged her, but luckily for you, she did not notice.’ Harsh.
It remains to be seen whether his latest Twitter swipe is a lyric taken from his new single but we found the quote appears in 2015 TV drama Banished – it’s a quip from a male prisoner to a soldier who’d just extorted sex from a female convict. The post came just 24 hours after Millie posted more amorous snaps of her and Hugo. This time they’d attended the lavish Tatler Little Black Book Party, with the captions ‘My date tonight’ and ‘My ride or die’ followed by a heart emoji.
Speaking about her new love back in June, Millie said: ‘I’m very happy, that’s all I can say.’
In recent weeks, while Millie has been loved-up attending friend’s weddings with Hugo, Pro Green has named his new single the not-so-subtle Back On The Market – in which he raps: ‘I don’t miss any of my exes… footloose and fancy-free, yeah, I’m back on the market, money can’t buy you class…’ When Pro Green revealed earlier this year that he was working on a new album, he also admitted that the meaning behind first record One Eye On The Door didn’t go down too well with Millie. He explained: ‘My publicist used to say to me: “One eye on the door” in my single days. I’d say:‘it’s serious this time.’ She’d say: “F**k off, Green. You still have one eye on the door”. ‘I wasn’t necessarily in Millie’s good books with this. But she knows I’m a lippy little s**t.’ So we’re not surprised that Pro would be keen to reignite his feud as he knows its title is enough to stir things up again. We can’t imagine that Millie will be rushing to download it this week…
