Michelle’s party fact file

What happened when she hit the town with Look…

Look (UK) - - FIRST LOOK -

Getting-ready time? 45 mins. Go-to party make-up look? Bronze/brown eye with a feline flick. Soundtrack? I like club classics, like Set You Free and Show Me Love – anything that’s really nostalgic. Key to getting ready quickly? Washing your hair the night before and a knowing what you’re wearing. Make-up schedule? Moisturiser, lip balm, primer, eyes, foundation, powder, highlighter and finally lips. Celeb you’d like to get ready with: Kate Hudson. She’s really funny and I doubt she’d be too high-maintenance and take ages. She’s a real girls’ girl. Best going-out companion? My friends from home. When they stay with me in Essex, we’re all in different rooms and we all walk around each one chatting together, and we have drink pit stops where we all come together. It takes about three hours to get ready when I’m with them, but it’s fun! Fake tan? I prefer moisturising my skin. I love Jo Malone’s Pomegranate Noir Body Creme [£50]. Best tip for long-lasting make-up? Use a primer. I love Laura Mercier Foundation Primer [£29]. Do you contour?i like using Benefit’s Hoola bronzer [£23.50] to sculpt my face. I wouldn’t say it’s the strong extreme contouring that’s in fashion – I’ve kind of always done it. Do you reapply when you’re out? Never. I always lose make-up if I take it out with me. I only take blotting powder and the lip colour I have on for touch-ups. Does your husband Mark [Wright] get annoyed with you when you’re getting ready? No, not really. I usually go off first and then 15 minutes before I’m ready I give him a shout: ‘Right, you can get in the shower now, I’m halfway there.’ I wish I was a boy and just had to put a T-shirt and a pair of jeans on – they have it so easy! Best tip for covering bruises? Don’t waste your time covering them up – just go for a longer skirt or jeans. How do you create your perfect bouncy curls? I use a Babyliss Boutique Soft Waves Hairstyler [£30]. I clip my hair up into sections, curl each layer, then spritz it with hairspray. Once I’m done I tip my hair upside down and brush it out for volume. Do you take your make-up off after a night out? Always! I use Origins Checks& balances frothy face wash [£16.50], take off the excess with Simple Face Wipes [£3.25], then apply Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Night Cream [£58]. Skin hangover cure? Lots of water. I try not to wear make-up and pin my hair back off my face to let my skin breathe.
