Victoria’s big family plans
Five years after giving birth to Harper, VB’S A-list mates could be making her rethink her options, despite previous denialsé

is it us, or does Victoria Beckham seem happier than ever right now?
Playfully posting photos on social media, appearing on stage with husband David, 41, to present an award and even sharing pictures of her brood as they help out the Beckham brand – it’s clear that Victoria’s all about family right now.
And our sources have revealed that it was while attending her pal Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Gala in London recently that the two friends spoke about motherhood – with VB, 42, apparently admitting she’s feeling broody again.
‘Victoria’s having thoughts about adding to the family,’ says our insider. ‘She’s become really broody recently and her close friendship with Eva has only added to her yearning for another child.’
Of course, it does contradict the designer’s comments in October, when she said: ‘I’m done… I feel that I’m being pulled in four different directions with the children. And the truth is, it is hard.’ But our sources say it’s BFF Eva Longoria who’s really convincing her.
Victoria, who’s mum to Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and Harper, five, has been friends with Eva ever since the Beckhams first relocated to LA in 2007 and the two became neighbours. Now the pair try to catch up whenever they can, with Victoria attending Eva’s May wedding in Mexico – and even designing the bride’s dress.
Eva’s recently spoken out about wanting children with her new husband Jose Baston: ‘It if happens, it happens – if it’s meant to be, it would be a blessing.’
‘Naturally, with Victoria being an experienced mum and them being such close friends, Eva asks her about it all the time,’ says our insider.
‘She knows that they could both be a great support to each other if they were to go through it at the same time. I know Victoria would love to have a little sister for Harper, while Eva’s also keen to make 2017 all about becoming a mum.’
David and Victoria did apparently discuss having another child following the birth of Harper in 2011. ‘We might have one more or two more, you never know,’ David said in a TV interview. Meanwhile, VB has previously gushed that, ‘being a mother is simply the greatest achievement of my life’.
Currently Victoria’s been heavily involved with making sure her family make the right choices in their chosen careers, with our Look sources saying that she’d be happy for her family to enter whatever industry possible.
Right now, she’s supported Brooklyn’s entry into photography and was especially proud to see him secure the Burberry campaign gig. It’s rumoured that Victoria was also involved in negotiating his book deal, which was announced this week.
She’s also been promoting son Cruz as he ventures into music. After posting a sweet clip of him singing along to Pitch Perfect’s Cup Song while on holiday this year, she took him along to the studio. VB tweeted the link to his first tune – a Justin Bieber cover – and it’s something our sources say she and David are ‘very proud of ’. Meanwhile Harper Beckham has reportedly been taking ballet lessons at the Royal School Of Ballet and has even helped her mum design the Born Free Africa T-shirt for World Aids Day (Victoria is a UNAIDS ambassador), drawing the illustrations herself. But while Victoria might be thinking about baby number five, David might have other ideas. He’s got his hands full as he’s about to launch his own fashion collection with brand Kent & Curwen. We wonder what Mrs Beckham will make of that...
