The Body Coach

Too many parties to fit in a workout? Joe Wicks, AKA The Body Coach (and total babe, in case you hadn’t noticed), is all about the short ’n’ sweet approach

Look (UK) - - FIT! -

So what’s the deal, Joe? ‘You don’t need to work out five times a week during your Christmas break. Drop it down to 20 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) three to four times a week. Try 0 seconds of intense exercise with 45 seconds’ rest,’ explains Joe. The HIIT master incorporates various bodyweight moves such as burpees, squat jumps, mountain climbers and lunge jumps into his workouts.

Burn Fat Fast! ‘Doing HIIT sessions will melt fat from all areas of your body. After 90 days, most of my clients have completely transformed their body shape.’

You Can Still eat Pigs in Blankets… ‘I get guilty with my food probably about once a week. We all need a treat now and again for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I love indulging at Christmas – enjoy it. It’s just a case of getting back on your training the next day.’

Lean In 15: The Sustain Plan (Bluebird, £16.99) is out now. See Joe’s 90 Day Shift, Shape And Sustain Plan at thebodycoach.co.uk
