Binky Felstead loves to talk. We could honestly spend all day with her discussing anything and everything, but top of our agenda is her becoming the new face of Reebok – a pretty big coup for the 26-year-old Made In Chelsea star. What we love about Binks is that while she loves working out – ‘high intensity is my fave’, she tells us – it’s as much about the mental as it is the physical. And, much like us, she’s still figuring out how to be an adult – and her mum’s still teaching her how to cook…

Hi, Binky! How did your new gig with Reebok come about? I’ve always loved Reebok. I went to their Be:fit festival – I loved all the team, we got chatting and amazingly we worked something out. Are you one of those people who wears gymwear casually? Yeah, gymwear has become very fashionable now. I get up in the morning, put it on, take my dog for a walk and go straight to the gym; then I might go again later. What does your usual fitness regime look like? I work out with my personal trainer Tyrone Brennand. We do an hour of cardio in the morning, with 30 minutes on the treadmill and uphill sprinting. We also do circuits and lots of high-intensity training, which gets the fat going!

Do you love high-intensity workouts? Yeah, I like toning as well. I’m not really into slower workouts, like yoga or Pilates. I’m not particularly flexible. I like working up a sweat and feeling my heart pumping. Do you bounce out of bed for the gym, or do you secretly hate working out? Some days it can be a struggle, but I try to get myself in the workout mood in the car on the way there. But when I’m done, it sets me up for the rest of the day. I feel so feel much better about everything. It controls my anxiety as well, which is quite nice. What do you do later in the day? I run round the park most days. It boosts my endorphins. Are you constantly trying to do more and more? I love my food, so there’s no danger of me being too skinny – ever! I live to eat, so I work out so I can do that. Is the gym my life? No! What’s your diet like? I opt for simple things, like chicken with vegetables, but my mum is trying to teach me how to cook so I can start being more adventurous. At the moment I order a lot of takeaways. What do you listen to when you work out? Hard house or a bit of rap – no slow songs. What do you like to work out in? I love my white Reebok hoodie and all the Reebok leggings and sports bras are really comfortable. I like workout gear with bold patterns that flatter your figure. Is it important to you to look good while you’re working out? Yes! Not that I wear much make-up when I go to the gym. Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? Hundreds. I think 2017 is about working hard and trying to get a few more projects under my belt. Do you have plans to go away? Sadly, I don’t have anything booked – unless someone wants to whisk me away somewhere! Do you exercise more before a holiday? I have to. I mean, you want to look good in a bikini, don’t you? I work out, I cut out carbs and fake tan plays a big part in making me feel amazing. What’s next for you? There are exciting things coming up and MIC will be huge for me in 2017. There’s even more drama in store for you? I hope not! I’ve actually been quite lucky. It could’ve been a lot worse if I didn’t have support, but I feel very loved. Are you more thick-skinned now? Yes, and I think I’ve grown up a bit. I want to start thinking about bigger things.
