Let’s Get COLOUR FAUX...

Red and yellow and pink and green… The age-old rhyme has been granted major fash status thanks to the new obsession that’s taken over the street style scene

Look (UK) - - FIRST - Maxine eggenberger @Maxfasheditor

Faux fur coats are as synonymous with winter as frosty mornings and dark nights – so much so that owning one has become a seasonal sartorial rite of passage. Long have we hoarded black, tan and grey styles because, well, they go with everything – but, we dare ask, where’s the fun in that?

Of course, we’re firm advocates for getting as much wear out of your pieces as possible but after uncovering this less-than-sensible trend, it’s out with neutral and in with next-level as far as we’re concerned. Forgoing tonal in favour of technicolour, we’ve spotted more street style stars rocking rainbow-hued faux fur coats than we could shake a stylish stick at. Luckily for us, there’s no risk of fauxmo (ahem) – whether you’re into pink, green, orange or blue, the high street has a bounty of babin’ cover-ups to choose from.

Skittles may claim that you can taste the rainbow, but now, thanks to this hot haul, we can wear it, too. Which is way more appealing in our eyes.
