Live The Scandi Way

Train Smart

‘As kids, we played outdoors and led a simple, active existence; everyone plays sports regularly and that runs right through to adulthood. I pursue a variety of exercise: a yoga class each week, three or four weights sessions and a cardio session, plus regular stretching. I’m not aiming for ‘shredded abs’ but rather a healthy heart, a strong body and a sustainable mindset. I’m a big fan of mindfulness and deep breathing too. I’m not advocating hours of soul searching – that’s impractical. Just be aware of when you’re failing to breathe properly, when you’re slouched on your office chair, when you’re tense. Notice sounds and smells around you.’

Eat Well

‘In Sweden, we enjoy thousands of miles of coastline, so fresh fish is in abundance. given how leana source of protein that is, it forms a large part of our diet. It’s naturally rich in healthy fats.’

Enjoy Life

‘If we don’t enjoy our favourite foods, we can’t stay on track. I love chocolate and cake and I have some almost every day, otherwise I quickly fall off the bandwagon. A healthy lifestyle means enjoying sustainable balance; that was a key part of my upbringing. Understand what you’re putting into yourself, but there’s no reason to demonise things you love.’

Yes, we’d quite like this glow too, please
