The Estée Edit By Estée Lauder Beam Team Hydrate + Glow, £34

Not only does this tinted balm leave my skin with a gorgeous sheen, the formula contains hyaluronic acid, so it’s an excellent smoothing make-up base. it’s got a solid highlighter on the end too, which is perfect for top-ups. @gdidwhat

MAC Strobe Cream, £24.50

This is the original cream that got me glowing. i’ve tried a lot of primers that promise to up your radiance but i always go back to this one. i used to swear by the old formula, but now they have a range of shades and Goldlite has become my new fave. @Chloeburcham

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance, £29

i couldn’t live without this! it really does leave my skin looking luminous and it definitely brightens. i always use it after my moisturiser, under my foundation, and it keeps my make-up looking fresher for longer, too. @Catherinedelves

No7 Skin Illuminator, £12.50

i wouldn’t dream of applying my make-up without using this first – it’s my secret weapon for a flawless finish to my foundation. My skin stays soft, my complexion’s more even-toned and it always looks so much better in photos. @ljaneturner

bareminerals Prime Time Foundation Primer Brightening, £20.70

This is my favourite! i love how it’s ever so slightly mattifying without being drying. it sets the perfect long-lasting base for foundation and still gives a healthy glow. @livpurvis
