Fennel, cabbage and orange Salad with avocado and CRISPY HAM
combining finely sliced red cabbage and fennel with butter lettuce leaves and avocado makes the base of this salad. top with pan-fried or oven-baked crispy ham pieces and orange segments. the best dressing for this salad is red wine vinegar and olive oil, but if you don’t have that, the juice from the orange with a splash of olive oil will do the job.
TOP TIP: This works just as well without the ham and the orange can be substituted for pomegranate kernels.
