MUSHROOM and tarragon Penne
Free ham?! i’ll go for my twist on a carbonara; ham, mushrooms, garlic, onion and tarragon, sautéed with two tablespoons of crème fraîche stirred through before tossing in gloriously al dente penne. this makes enough for four servings, and all for under a fiver.
TOP TIP: For added depth of flavour I add a splash of white wine while sautéing the garlic and onions.
