VB’S Got The Blues

Turning her wardrobe on its tonal head, Victoria’s latest outfit obsession has sparked a shopping frenzy (of course it has)

Look (UK) - - HEY BUSY GIRL! -

Like a sartorially blessed butterfly emerging from a designer cocoon, Victoria Beckham’s personal style has undergone quite the transformation of late. Having formerly restricted herself to a uniform of monochrome, the runway maestro has spent the last few weeks tackling tricky primary hues in an array of outfits so standout they’d give the queen of colour blocking, Solange, a run for her money. Unexpected it may be, but there’s a common thread to Victoria’s new wardrobe mood: cornflower blue. Whether it’s a shoe peeking out from under a mustard A-line skirt or a slinky shirt effortlessly tucked into wideleg trews, Victoria’s gone berserk for the bold tone – and so have you, it seems. Since the mighty VB began sporting the shade, searches for cornflower blue have shot up by 145 per cent, making it one of the most in-demand trends of the season. Thankfully, you don’t need your own label to get in on the action – the high street has an abundance of the stuff, meaning you can get your VB fashion fix for a fraction of the price. Feeling blue has never looked so good.
