home­made grub ‘i’m re­ally into warming foods at this time of year. right now i’m lov­ing ginger bread por­ridge; sweet, spiced oats that taste like christ­mas in a bowl. i’m mak­ing lots of big one-pot cur­ries for din­ners and i’ve started mak­ing raw choco­late with chilli flakes and lime juice. it’s in­cred­i­bly ad­dic­tive.’

the per­fect smoothie ‘i start with a big ta­ble­spoon of al­mond but­ter, which is a must in my blender, then i like to add one ba­nana, a quar­ter of an avo­cado, spinach, kale, chia seeds and co­conut wa­ter to blend. it tastes amaz­ing and it re­ally kick-starts my morn­ings.’

Feel­ings First ‘Food and fit­ness should be about how you feel. if you start to get a real un­der­stand­ing of the foods and the train­ing that work for your body, you’ll be an in­fin­itely hap­pier, health­ier per­son. in turn, you’ll look health­ier too. i’m all about bal­ance and sim­ply try­ing your best. it’s what’s on the in­side that counts.
