The All Worth It cam­paign is aim­ing to change lives… here’s how it can and will work over the next three years

At Look, we like to think we’re worth it. We think you’re worth it. And we’re glad that L’oréal Paris thinks we’re all worth it.

Its new part­ner­ship with The Prince’s Trust is a huge deal. New fig­ures re­leased by the char­ity show that one in three young peo­ple doesn’t have any self-belief, while 42 per cent are not in ed­u­ca­tion, train­ing or jobs. Pretty ter­ri­ble, right?

That’s why the All Worth It cam­paign is im­por­tant. It in­tends to tar­get those with low self-es­teem and erad­i­cate their self-doubt through a se­ries of con­fi­dence classes. These will be avail­able via The Prince’s Trust’s new dig­i­tal train­ing plat­form as well as 18 ded­i­cated UK cen­tres – and the 15 am­bas­sadors will be get­ting more in­volved too.

At the launch, we spoke to Leanne Lash­ley, who first came to The Prince’s Trust in 2014, af­ter she’d been un­em­ployed for a long time. They helped her start her own com­edy club called Miswits. She re­ally be­lieves this cam­paign can make a dif­fer­ence and is now an am­bas­sador for the char­ity.

‘Grow­ing up I was con­sumed by self-doubt,’ says Leanne. ‘I suf­fered a num­ber of trau­mas and was se­verely de­pressed. I took drugs to fill a void. And I was in debt.

‘But with help from The Prince’s Trust and through an in­cred­i­ble sup­port net­work of friends and fam­ily, I was able to build the con­fi­dence to face ad­ver­sity head-on.’

She adds: ‘I went through the pro­gramme and man­aged to get my own busi­ness started. Now I want to help oth­ers find the self-belief they need to reach their po­ten­tial, which is why to­day I’m re­ally proud to be sup­port­ing this part­ner­ship.’
