We Can’t Believe It’s Morrisons!
Forget sugar, spice and all things nice – Nutmeg is the only ingredient you need to create the perfect capsule wardrobe…
If you’d asked us five (read: 15) years ago, fashion and food shopping wouldn’t have gone hand-inhand. Now though, it’s a totally different story. Not only can you pick up a bag of juicy tangerines during your weekly shop but you can also get your hands on the hottest catwalk-inspired orange clothing.
Yes, supermarkets have indeed become suitably chic – and joining the style ranks is none other than Morrisons. Its Nutmeg range first came about with its children’s collection four years ago, and moving into womenswear was a natural progression.
Head of design Claire Cave told us: ‘We wanted to develop affordable wardrobe essentials, then go beyond that with easy-to-wear fashion-led clothes.’ Mission accomplished then, considering the drop offers up everything from striped strides and tailored A-line dresses to classic camel trenches and one of the strongest denim collections of the season.
In case you need any more proof, Look’s Fashion Stylist Laura Martin and Deputy Beauty Editor Chloe Burcham modelled their favourite pieces and you don’t need us to tell you how good they look. Plus who can argue with prices ranging from just £4 to £24?
