The Baby BOOMERS
From book deals and baby ranges to maternity wear and endorsements, having a celebrity baby can be lucrative these days. So will Cheryl follow in these stars’ footsteps with her new arrival?
It might only be March, but we’ve found 2017’s biggest fashion trend: the baby bump. Because, let’s be honest, it feels like every celebrity has got one these days. And while we might be slightly biased, we’ve decided all these announcements prove one major fact: Cheryl is still a huge trendsetter.
While we’re sure Chez will spend the next few months devoting all her time to little Chiam, we can’t wait to see what’s next. After all, having a baby in the spotlight certainly has its perksé
All celeb mothers know that writing a book about your mum adventures should come as second nature. Giovanna Fletcher has just released her book Happy Mum, Happy Baby: My Adventures In Motherhood, following in the footsteps of Myleene Klass and Holly Willoughby, who’ve both written bestselling books about being a mama. We’re clearing our schedules because if Cheryl releases a baby book we’re not leaving the house until we’ve read it at least five times. Earning potential: APPROX £350-£500K
If it’s not North and Saint West on KUWTK along with Penelope Disick and her mum Kourtney Kardashian, it’s Binky Felstead revealing her pregnancy is the big storyline for this season’s Made In Chelsea. While we doubt Cheryl has plans to set up her own reality show any time soon, we’ll happily settle for regular Instagram updates. Cheers, Chez! Earning potential: UP TO £100K
Model-turned-fashion designer Jools Oliver created Little Bird – a range of baby clothes, bedding and accessories exclusive to Mothercare – in 2012. Coleen Rooney tapped into kids’ clothes while pregnant with her second child Klay in 2013, teaming up with Littlewoods to launch a childrenswear collection. If Cheryl’s style is anything to go by, we’re convinced little Chiam will be the best-dressed baby ever. Earning potential: UP TO £2 MILLION
With so many celebs showcasing their transformations, it’s no wonder lots of new mums turn to A-list fitness regimes. Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt produced exercise programmes and at-home DVDS for busy mums. With the number of recent pregnancy announcements, we bet we’ll definitely be spoilt for choice come Christmas. Earning potential: APPROX £30K
Cheryl’s bezzie Kimberley Walsh paired up with Pampers, Fearne Cotton started working with Huggies to promote their wipes, while Jessica Alba launched her entire eco-friendly beauty and lifestyle company Honest after becoming a mum. It’s all in a day’s work for celebs who pursue motherhood. Earning potential: UP TO £1 MILLION
