Dress dilemmas begone! Evans’ latest collab is the answer to all your occasionwear woes…

Look (UK) - - FIRST LOOK -

Weddings, proms, the races… Spring may have sprung, but with it come countless events that require heightened sartorial consideration. We can’t put our finger on it, but there’s just something about being forced to buy a new outfit that makes it nigh on impossible to find something you like, let alone actually want to wear. Yes, this problem can be overwhelming, but before you fall into formalwear fatigue, allow us to point you in the direction of Evans. We were over the moon to learn that the curve-enhancing hotspot was dedicating its CUT collection – Evans’ annual initiative that invests in young design talent – to solving our every occasionwear predicament. The winner – chosen by an esteemed industry panel, including Look’s very own Fashion Stylist Kate Andrews – was Rosie Riviere-pring from Manchester Met University. And after locking eyes on the full collection, it certainly lived up to our expectations. Taking inspiration from trinkets gathered on her travels, Rosie drew a number of intricate and playful prints that formed the basis of her seven-piece capsule. One quick look at the campaign (starring Irish model and mega-blogger Louise O’reilly) and we’re already eyeing up the sleek shift dress, cascading skirts and the cool-girl trouser suit for all our springtime gatherings. Plus, with prices starting at just £30, you can bag the work of one of tomorrow’s top designers and solve all your shopping woes without breaking the bank. Best-dressed guest? It’s in the bag.
