Nobody knows decluttering like queen of clean Vicky Silverthorn. She is a professional organiser, after all (having founded youneedavicky.com)! Here are her top tips for streamlining your beauty stash like a pro…

Start by gathering all your beauty products. Lay everything out in front of you and sort into categories. This way you get to see exactly what you do and don’t have.

Once you’ve organised all your products, put away all the ones that are full or unused to ensure you use the ones that are already open first. This stops you from overloading your make-up bag or bathroom cabinets with multiple half-empty bottles of the same thing.

Stick to one small area for spare products. Only allow yourself to have one shelf or small basket that you can fill with replacement shampoos etc. The smaller the space is, the less likely you are to hoard.
