if we were you, we’d write off getting any sleep for the next few days – because once you start, you won’t be able to put this one down. into the water focuses on two sisters, nel and Jules. when nel is found dead at the bottom of a river, everyone assumes she jumped – apart from Jules. Forced to return to the town she left behind to care for nel’s 5-year-old daughter, Jules is terrified – of the water, the memories and the ‘drowning pool’.

what IT’S not

it’s not a sequel to the girl on the train. while paula is clearly the queen of psychological thrillers, into the water is a different – but equally addictive – story.

successfully following up the girl on the train is no mean feat, but despite the high expectations, this certainly delivered. with the same delicious mystery that lingers throughout the girl on the train (not to mention the jaw-dropping ending), Look read it every spare second. Count down to the movie.
