FULL HOUSE!

HOUSE Of CARDS IS back with a bang FOR SEASON 5, and IT’S BEING Labelled the most DEVIOUS and EXHILARATING SERIES yet…

Look (UK) - - HEY BUSY GIRL -

Recap…

Frank and Claire Underwood started the season estranged, but a succession of dirty tricks between the treacherous husband and wife ensured Claire became part of his campaign. A brush with death and a few hallucinations later and the Underwoods have got themselves into hot water. Frank ended the series making us shudder in our boots, telling the American public: ‘We don’t submit to terror; we make the terror.’

What’s to come…

the new season release date was announced on trump’s inauguration day and we don’t want to say it (oh, go on then) but the similarities are creepy. Even Robin Wright, who plays Claire (the modern day Lady Macbeth in a power suit) reckons they’re struggling for storylines now that reality is stranger than fiction. this season, we see Frank (Kevin Spacey) on the campaign trail for the presidency, where he’s planning a dictatorship amid a climate of paranoia.

Why we’re excited…

No one schemes quite like slanderous snakes the Underwoods and series five promises to be full of even more double-crossing, from the golden couple of cold, calculated treachery. We can’t wait for more sinister yet hilarious ponderings from the man who told us he’d drown a litter of kittens if it meant  minutes of primetime…
