‘We usu­ally train once a day and have three gym ses­sions a week. Weekly, we have five on-pitch ses­sions and be­fore­hand we go to the gym for pre-ac­ti­va­tion so we’re ready to play. That can in­volve any­thing from stretch­ing to rid­ing a bike, squats, lunges and planks.’
