Won­der Woman hits cine­mas on Thurs­day June 1 – hur­rah! To cel­e­brate, we chat­ted to per­sonal trainer Amy Golby to find out ex­actly how to get a su­per­hero bod – just like Gal Gadot.

‘She has gone through quite a trans­for­ma­tion,’ says Amy.

‘To get that shape her train­ing plan would have con­sisted of five ses­sions a week, us­ing a mix of HIIT, mar­tial arts and pi­lates to build power, and in­crease her en­durance -– help­ing to sculpt a long, lean and trim fig­ure.

‘To achieve a won­der woman body, diet is also key. Stick­ing to five small meals a day will keep you fu­elled and full – while also main­tain­ing your me­tab­o­lism. Make sure each meal has equal amounts of lean pro­tein and whole­grain carbs, including plenty of fruit and veg­eta­bles.’
