We’ve lost count of the number of bikini Instagrams we’ve seen this year. We’ve also lost count of the hours we’ve spent wondering how said swimsuits fare when it comes to tan lines, but we’ve finally got an answer. According to ASOS, a third of its customers only buy swimwear to look good in a snap – as opposed to functional reasons like, you know, being waterproof and the ability to do more than one length without fear of indecent exposure. Nothing important, then. Of course, there’s plenty to go round when it comes to Instagrammable swim style, but we’ve spied a load that are both stylish and suitable. So what will it be: Insta-ready? Waterproof? The choice is yours…

Avoid a Rossstyle suntan at all costs…
