MEGHAN & HARRY: ‘It’s Happening!’

We’re all eagerly awaiting the engagement announcement, and now there may be proof they’re taking the next step…

Look (UK) - - NEWS STORY -

n the Look office, any news surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s engagement always creates a lot of excitement. We’ve always had a soft spot for Megs, and we’ve fancied Prince Harry, 33, for yonks. So, when we heard they’d reportedly taken the next big step, we were buzzing. Yep, according to an exclusive royal insider, Meghan is heading for the UK – permanently!

According to reports, 36-yearold Meghan has returned her leased £40k Audi several months early, suggesting she’s making a move to the UK. We’d like to say there’s a chance of bumping into Meghan in Zara and getting a selfie but, as her Suits co-star Patrick J Adams reminded us last week (after he posted then deleted an image of the pair): ‘[We] live in a world where [we] can’t post things about Meghan anymore.’ Sad face.

‘The logical next step is for Meghan to move in,’ says our source. ‘Harry has given Nottingham Cottage a minimakeover. There are lots more candles and fewer dirty socks! Meghan has been giving notice on any contracts she has, such as the one for her car.’

The star’s lease isn’t the only clue that she’s settling into royal life. According to our insider, Meg probably won’t film another series of Suits and doesn’t seem to have anything in production at the moment.

‘Meghan is reducing her commitments across the pond. She’s hinted that she won’t be signing up for another season of Suits – but that doesn’t mean she’s retiring to be an idle princess,’ reveals a friend. ‘The long-term plan is that Harry will travel with Meghan when she gets the right opportunities as an actress and activist. She’s worked too hard to reach this position, where she’s respected in the industry, to throw it away – and Harry doesn’t expect her to. They plan to have bases on both sides of the Atlantic, but for now, the security situation means they’re best off in England.’

Happy moving, Megs!

She’s not retiring to be an idle princess
