From one generation of supers passing on the torch, to the return of everyone's fave childhood toy, Milan was all we thought it would be and so much moreé

Versace, Versace, Versace…

Paying homage to her late brother (who used to head up the brand) for her SS18 show, Donatella Versace brought back the original ’90s supers who graced his catwalks – Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni and Helena Christensen. Now that’s a girl gang we want to be part of! Joining them on the runway was model of the moment Kaia (Cindy’s daughter, FYI), with a legion of millennial model pals – Kendall Jenner and Bella and Gigi Hadid. The supers weren’t the only dose of nostalgia, for spring marks the return of Versace’s iconic scarf print. That’s right, it’s back, and you can get it on the high street right now. Note: gold bling not compulsory, but strongly advised.

2 We Heart saint laurent’s sunnies

… As does everyone else in the world of fashion, apparently. Spotted at the SS18 Gucci show, Frow-goers were already ahead of the heartshaped eyewear trend with the sought-after SL pair. It’s time to channel your inner five year old, in the coolest way possible, natch.

Hey, new it Girl

After appearing on the Jean Paul Gaultier catwalk aged four and dubbed ‘the most beautiful girl in the world’ aged six, it’s no surprise Thylane Blondeau was snapped up by Dolce & Gabbana at 16 and spotted earlier this season on the FROW. We definitely didn’t look like this as a teen – it was more of a glitter lip gloss and pedal pushers kinda vibe...

Swapping lemons and oranges for cabbages, peas and turnips, Dolce & Gabbana prove you don’t need to chow down on a salad to get your five a day. Sure, it’s a bit odd, but paired with D&G’S trademark red lips, jewels and flicked eyeliner, we’re sold. We bet H&M will be the first to embrace the veggy print vibe.

My Little Moschino

from mcdonald’s to spongebob, there’s nothing too extra for Jeremy scott. Clearly, he’s coming over all nostalgic, as the creative director has now given my Little pony his kooky seal of approval. t-shirts were teamed with rock-chick leathers, accessories were seriously studded and hair was cropped. Complete the catwalk collection by turning gigi Hadid into a human bouquet and this just about sums up the moschino show.

Get cuffed

when gucci speaks, we listen intently, which is why we’re hotfooting it to Zara to snap up the next Big thing: furry cuffs. add a belt bag and granny specs for extra gucci style kudos.

Prada rules

if there’s one thing you can take away from the prada catwalk, season after season, it’s on-point styling tips. take note, ladies, for these small tweaks are all you need to achieve sartorial prada perfection…
