BBL Trophy win for Loughborough quartet
BBL TROPHY FINAL LEICESTER RIDERS 91 PLYMOUTH RAIDERS 58 LEICESTER Riders defended their BBL Trophy title in style with a dominant 91-58 victory over Plymouth Raiders. Taylor King picked up the MVP award after finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
There were four Loughborough players in the Riders’ 11-man roster, Eric Robertson, Josh Ward-Hibbert, Conner Washington and captain Tyler Bernardini.
Bernadini said the team stuck to the game plan and it paid off.
“We have one goal and that’s trophies so to achieve that, it’s great credit to the whole organisation.”
