LOUGHBOROUGH students will be joining hundreds of pupils at an careers speed networking event that offers an insight into the world of work.
Students from a number of schools, including Woodbrook Vale School, Rawlins Academy and De Lisle College, are set to attend the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) event on Friday, November 3.
It will be held at Leicester Racecourse and will feature a variety of companies representing a wide cross-section of local industry and commerce.
Many Loughboroughbased businesses will also be in attendance.
LLEP said last year’s speed networking event was such a success that 97 per cent of the students who attended said they “were more aware of their career choices as a result”.
In the run up to the event, which is sponsored by Mattioli Woods, LLEP is looking for local employers willing to take part and talk about their own careers, give industry insights and top tips.
