Rescued from vehicle

FIREFIGHTERS and an ambulance crew were called Beacon Road, Woodhouse Eaves on Thursday (September 21) after a two-vehicle road traffic collision left one person trapped.

An appliance from Loughborough Station and one from Coalville Station were sent to the incident just after 1pm.

Crews had to remove one person from a vehicle using specialist equipment and ambulance crews administered trauma care to the patient,.

Once the casualty had been placed on a long board, they were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre.
