LEICESTERSHIRE and Rutland Family History Society, Loughborough Group’s next meeting is on Tuesday, October 17.
The evening will see by a talk Dominic Johnson a talk by entitled: Soldiers’ Wives: Army Women in the 18th Century.
Meetings take place at All Saints Church Hall, Thorpe Acre Road, Loughborough LE11 4NF.
Car parking is conveniently located and there is easy access for wheelchair users.
Visitors are welcome to come along to any of the meetings as a taster before joining the group.
Doors are open from 6.45pm and the talk starts at 7.30pm.
Tea and coffee will be available plus a selection of the society’s CDs of Leicestershire births, marriages and deaths and other items of interest for local family historians which members and visitors may like to browse.
