Treat at the GCR for model rail­way fans

MODEL rail­way fans are ex­pected to flock to the Great Cen­tral Rail­way this week­end for The GCR Model Rail­way and En­gi­neer­ing Ex­hi­bi­tion.

More than 70 of the coun­try’s best lay­outs will be attending along­side over 40 of the in­dus­try’s lead­ing sup­pli­ers from Fri­day, June 15, to Sun­day, June 17.

The main event arena, at Quorn and Wood­house sta­tion, fea­tures a 35,000 sq ft ex­hi­bi­tion hall where sup­pli­ers such as Bach­mann, Chel­tenham, Ker­now, Hornby Magazine, Mor­tons Pub­lish­ing and Book Law will be in at­ten­dance along­side many oth­ers.

Lay­outs also be­ing ex­hib­ited in­clude, among oth­ers: Aber Em­l­lyn, Avian A Llyin and Bath Green Park.

Other sta­tions will spe­cialise in dif­fer­ent ar­eas of the hobby.

An in­ten­sive timetable will be in op­er­a­tion across the week­end.
