Rape campaign film is nominated for five awards
LEICESTERSHIRE Police’s rape campaign, All is Not Lost - produced by a Loughborough film company - has been nominated for a further three awards bringing the total number of nominations for the film to five.
The two-part film, which formed part of a wider cam- paign, aimed to raise greater awareness of the crime, and increase the number of successful prosecutions in cases of rape.
The campaign was developed by the force’s directorate of communications and engagement, Matt Tapp, and was produced by Affixxius Films of Loughbor- ough.
The campaign depicted the impact that the loss of evidence can have on the police’s chances to prosecute, and challenged the myths and preconceptions jury members, and members of the public may have in relation to rape victims and perpetrators.
The film has now been shortlisted for five awards: Event and Visual Communication Association (EVCOM) Industry Award for Excellence in Charity or Non-Profit; Event and Visual Communication Association (EVCOM) Industry Awards for Most Effective Use of Video Content in Digital Campaigns; Lovie Award in the Public Service and Activism category; Royal Television Society Awards in the Craft – Production category; Royal Television Society Awards in the Short Form category.
