RSPB group to host talk about Ethiopia

THE Lough­bor­ough RSPB Group is host­ing a talk on the birds, land­scape and his­tory of Ethiopia in Lough­bor­ough on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 12.

It will be a bird­ers per­spec­tive of the North­ern His­tor­i­cal Cir­cuit fol­lowed by a jour­ney down the Rift Val­ley, stop­ping off at bird-rich lakes be­fore ven­tur­ing up into the Bale Moun­tains and ex­plor­ing their unique wildlife. Dis­cover the pos­i­tive and beau­ti­ful side of a coun­try steeped in his­tory but nor­mally por­trayed for its famines and po­lit­i­cal trou­bles.

It takes place from 7.45pm to 9.45pm at the Lec­ture The­atre U020, Brock­ing­ton Build­ing, Lough­bor­ough Uni­ver­sity. Epinal Way, Lough­bor­ough.

It costs £3.50 lo­cal group mem­bers, £4 for non-mem­bers, LU stu­dents free with SU card.
