Cycling success for would-be MP
THE Labour candidate aiming to be Loughborough’s next MP, cycled back from the party conference in Liverpool to Loughborough to raise funds for his campaign.
Stuart Brady cycled more than 110 miles and he kept social media followers up to date as he traversed the country, including his lunch stop at the Potteries Pantry in Stoke: who he said kindly chipped in £10 to the cause.
Mr Brady said: “There could be a general election any moment. That means that we need all the funding that we can possibly raise.
“This ride home was a great way of working in some exercise to my busy work and political life whilst also making some much needed cash”.
He added that the ride raised in excess of £1,000 for his campaign.
